The contest will begin at 8 am on both Saturday and Sunday. Check-in is being held at the Rogue Brewery from 6-8 pm on Friday evening, September 10th. Contestants will receive a commemorative T-shirt along with other gifts donated by local sponsors. Brewer’s on the Bay will be open for food and drink—this starts the Gathering! Come all. The Rogue Brewery is below the Yaquina Bay Bridge at the Port of Newport’s South Beach Marina.

Registration for this year’s contest is already underway with a limited amount of spots. It will be a larger Gathering of the Tribes so be sure to register quickly. There will be no beach entries. Deadline for registration is August 31st , NO EXCEPTIONS.

Rogue will be on the beach serving refreshments during the contest both days—sun, suds and surf—along with games and activities for all. During the contest there will be raffle tickets for sale for a custom made Long board to be raffled on Sunday during the awards ceremony. There will again be hand made trophies—six awards each category.
