Shibuya, in the MGM Grand will be holding a tasting of 28 different Japanese and Japanese-style beers including Rogue's Morimoto Soba, Morimoto Black Obi and Morimoto Imperial Pilsner. Sake and other beverages will also be available for tasting. Live cooking stations, passed hors d'oeuvres and great entertainment including a contemporary Japanese-inspired art exhibit and silent auction are sure to please everyone in your party! September 4 -5 , 2010Mount Snow Brewers Fest | Mount Snow, VTThe Mount Snow Brewers Festival has become famous with great beer, great music, huge crowds, and good times. This year will be no different as Rogue joins over 20 other breweries in this annual tribute to summer and it's finest elixer - beer! All paid 21+ adult entries receive a one of a kind souvenir pint glass and a free beer on Mount Snow. September 11 and 12, 2010The Gathering: 8th Annual Longboard Classic | Newport, ORThe contest will begin at 8 am on both Saturday and Sunday. Check-in is being held at the Rogue Brewery from 6-8 pm on Friday evening, September 10th. Contestants will receive a commemorative T-shirt along with other gifts donated by local sponsors. Brewer’s on the Bay will be open for food and drink—this starts the Gathering! Come all. The Rogue Brewery is below the Yaquina Bay Bridge at the Port of Newport’s South Beach Marina.
Registration for this year’s contest is already underway with a limited amount of spots. It will be a larger Gathering of the Tribes so be sure to register quickly. There will be no beach entries. Deadline for registration is August 31st , NO EXCEPTIONS. Rogue will be on the beach serving refreshments during the contest both days—sun, suds and surf—along with games and activities for all. During the contest there will be raffle tickets for sale for a custom made Long board to be raffled on Sunday during the awards ceremony. September 17, 2010Rare Beer Tasting | Denver, COFriday Sept 17, Join Rogue Ales at the 2nd Annual Rare Beer Tasting, Pints for Prostate fundraiser Tickets for the Denver Rare Beer Tasting are $80 and include unlimited samples of 26 hard to find brews, hors d’oeuvres, a commemorative tasting glass, event program and the chance to meet the men and women who created the special beers. The event takes place at Wynkoop Brewing on 18th Street in Denver on Sept. 17 from 1-4 p.m., during a relatively quiet period while the Brewers Association Great American Beer Festival is taking place in the city. Only 500 tickets will be sold for the event and can be ordered through a secure link at eTix.
