Tara Dawn of the website Associated Content says this about Rogue Hazelnut Brown Ale: “I admit, I drink this delicious Rogue specialty year round—because it’s amazing. As a dark beer lover, I find this a great mid-way between the crisp ales of the warmer months and the warm stouts and porters of the colder months. The flavor is fantastic—sweet, but balanced and absolutely drinkable. This would certainly be one of my top picks for fall (Rogue pretty much takes the lead in all my opinions, however).”

The Miami Herald, Tampa Herald Today, and Fresno, California’s Merced Sun Star all pick Rogue Chocolate Stout as a top dessert beer for the Holiday Season.  In his article, “Try Beer, Not Wine With Your Feast,” Fred Tasker describes the stout as a top pick: “DESSERT ALES Rogue Chocolate Stout, Oregon (6 percent alcohol): very dark brown, thick, with creamy, sweettart chocolate flavors from added chocolate.”  It’s not just for dessert either;  Rogue Chocolate Stout pairs perfectly with beef and cheeses too. 

During the month of November, Rogue Ales is celebrating National Vegan month by holding beef specials in each of its pubs.  Stop by any of our public houses for local specials, and be sure to check out the Kobe Beef produced by Snake River Farms.  It promises to be the best vegan celebration you’ve ever had!
