8th Annual Great American Distillers Festival
PORTLAND, OREGON – The Great American Distillers Festival returns for its 8th annual convening on October 19th and 20th at the Tiffany Center in downtown Portland.
The festival starts off Friday with a cocktail competition. The 6th Annual Mixology Competition challenges bartenders & distilleries for cocktail supremacy. Each participant will use their craft spirits featured at the festival to create a holiday cocktail.
Friday night there will be a dinner with Lee Medoff founder of the Oregon Distiller’s Guild, Tito Beveridge of Tito’s Vodka & Ted Pappas of Big Bottom Whiskey. These trade professionals will share their products, passion and expertise in handcrafting spirits. Tickets for this special evening event will be available exclusively through Living Social.
All day Friday and Saturday distillers and owners will be on hand to pour samples and answer questions. GADF will host more than 40 distilleries from around the nation. Tickets are $15 for a one-day pass and five taster tickets and $25 for a two-day pass and 10 taster tickets. Tickets can be purchased in advance at www.distillersfestival.com. You may also purchase passes the day of the event at the Tiffany Center. Additional drink tickets will be available at the event.
Join us to meet craft distillers, taste their unique products, enjoy cocktail competitions, seminars and the greatest celebration of American craft spirits. The Great American Distillers Festival benefits the Oregon Bartenders Guild and the Oregon Distillers Guild.
