Join us on Sunday, October 28, 2012 at 12:00pm for our second annual Pumpkin Patch Party at the Rogue Farms Hopyard in Independence, OR!
Because we refuse to use canned, pureed or foreign pumpkins, we grow two varieties of our own, Leroy-o-Lantern & Dream, on a 2-acre pumpkin patch next to our Hopyard in Independence, Oregon. In September, we harvested over 5500 pounds of the Dream Pumpkins, which were cut, harvested, chopped, roasted in a pizza oven and used to brew this year’s Chatoe Rogue Pumpkin Patch Ale.
The Leroy-o-Lanterns are great for carving and we invite you to bring the family out to the Farm to pick a Rogue Pumpkin! Pumpkins only cost $1 – $5 depending on size.
There are a limited amount of pumpkins though, so please give us a call to reserve a pumpkin!
The Pumpkin Patch Party will be full of family friendly games and activities, a Photo Station, Music, Pumpkin Weighing Contest, Painting Booth and Rogue Pumpkin inspired dishes at the Chuck Wagon.
Rogue Farms is a perfect family trip whether you want to stay overnight at the Hop ‘n Bed, take a walk on our private beach, host a party at the Coleman Confrence Center, or simply grab a pint from the Chatoe Tasting Room.
