Long after most pumpkin beers hit store shelves, Rogue Ales is releasing
Pumpkin Patch Ale, made from fresh roasted pumpkins grown on Rogue Farms in Independence, Oregon. Growing your own means the beer isn’t ready until the pumpkins ready. We brew it on their schedule, not ours. It was worth the wait.
The Rogue Farms GYO Dream Pumpkins were harvested at the peak of ripeness, sweetness and color. Then they were loaded into Rogue’s farm truck and driven immediately 77 miles to our brewery in Newport, Oregon. Brewer Christina Canto of Rogue Ales Public House in Eugene, Oregon was on hand to make sure the pumpkins were quickly washed, chopped,
roasted in the old pizza oven, and pitched into the Lauter tun to create a batch of Pumpkin Patch Ale.
Pumpkin Patch Ale is brewed with 13 ingredients: Rogue Farms Dream Pumpkins, Great Western 2-Row, Carawheat,Weyermann Carafa Malts, Rogue Micro Hopyard Rebel Hops, Ginger, Cloves, Vanilla bean, cinnamon, cardamom, nutmeg, Free range coastal water and Pacman Yeast. It will be available worldwide in a new orange painted 750ml bottles this fall.
All orders containing alcohol require driver to obtain an adult (over 21 years old) signature for delivery. Packages cannot be left at the door or delivered to P.O. boxes.
